Gujranwala city has retained its well-deserved individuality by introducing small scale industries to a significant population of approximately three million. As the local industry flourished, the demand for young business professionals with creative organizational abilities became a need of the hour. Keeping this aspect in view, Islamic Commerce Educational Society (ICES) established Gujranwala Campus in 1997. Since then, the College has been functioning very well. It encourages the growth of professional initiative and intellectual dexterity to produce young business professionals. It maintains its excellence across a broad spectrum of traditional academic disciplines.

The Campus is ideally located in a tranquil area of the City that offers the right atmosphere for business learning. All classrooms are air-conditioned and are fitted with public address system.

The College has an impressive library that assists the process of learning by offering a variety of textbooks, business journals and encyclopedia competent staff is available to help students find the information they require.

PCC is known as the House of Superior Learning in Gujranwala because it has not only excelled in academics but also has been the winner of the General Trophy in Sports for the last six consecutive years. Another distinction of Punjab College Gujranwala is the winning of General Trophy in Sports by girls from year 2003 to 2006. Five students of PGC Gujranwala were selected to represent Pakistan at international level in sports. Three students of PCC Gujranwala have the honor of being the Best Gymnast of all Pakistan Board 2006, Best Athlete in Gujranwala Board and Mr. Gujranwala Board for the year 2006. All these achievements and performances have earned us the award of "BEST INSTITUTION" by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Gujranwala.

The year 2006 again proved very blissful for PCC Gujranwala as Miss Riffat Aziz once again bagged 1st position in Punjab University. She has already won the prize of car in 2004 on attaining 1st position in BISE Gujranwala.

Separate Welcome Parties for Boys and Girls students of Intermediate and Bachelor classes are arranged regularly in which students perform dramas, skits and make speeches. Following the traditions, recreational tours were arranged for Boys and Girls students for Murree. PCC Gujranwala also arranges Quiz Competitions. These competitions are based on the covered course of students. In these competitions, a good number of students participate.
