Punjab Group of Colleges decided to respond to the increasing demands of general public of this fast-developing city in Southern Punjab and established PCC in Rahim Yar Khan. It is easily accessible from all areas of the city. The College Campus is purpose-built and its lush green lawns provide a place for students to relax. All classrooms are air-conditioned. The faculty comprises of highly qualified and experienced teachers.

An indoor sports auditorium was constructed last year which added to the distinctive position of the College among all the private institutions of the region. All types of indoor sports activities are conducted in the auditorium on one hand and the Hall can be used also for different functions on the other.

The College holds different types of literary activities during the session. Annual Declamation and Annual Mushaira are the functions that are keenly waited for, the whole year. Mehfil-e-Naat, quiz programs, bonfires, cultural festivals are the functions that are the regular features during the academic session of the College. At the end of the session, students also go on Muree Tour. These tours are a great source of recreation and refreshment before their final exams. All the students enthusiastically participate in such programs.
